Ciao Table this year will award the award in collaboration with the Service equal opportunities of the Università della Svizzera italian. It will be rewarded the University of Amsterdam for studies on empathy conducted by Valeria Gazzola with neuroscience methodologies.
The Lectio Magistralis by Valeria Gazzola will follow:

We'll talk about next events and about the new WhatsApp group, "Friends of Ciao Table", created to let participants connect to each other in order to share their table whenever and wherever they are out and have open seats at their table.
We'll talk about this more at the meeting over a glass of wine. If you can't come, but are still interested in being part of the WhatsApp group, all you have to do is to email info@ciaotable.org: we'll send you a text asking for your WhatsApp number and name so we can add it to the group. We guarantee we won't use your details for anything else.
Once in the group, if you are out and there are free seats at your table, you can message the group and extend an invitation to join you at your table anytime, anywhere.
This is good for sparing time by cutting waiting cues at restaurants and also for making new connections.
You could also share any experiences, like going to the cinema or attending a concert.
