Open Days of Associations offering cultural leisure activities run by volunteers

"Ciao Table greeting practice” every year, in collaboration with Fondazione Maghetti, it organises “Open Doors" "Ciao Table greeting practice””, a fair for associations offering voluntary-run cultural leisure activities.

The associations meet the public and involve them in fun board games, bridge, burraco, chess, singing, dancing and other cultural initiatives.

Each association has (free of charge) its own stand to display promotional materials and meet the public, immediately engaging them in games, singing, and information exchange activities.

People of all ages who wish to spend their free time learning new things in good company are invited to participate.

This is an original idea by "Ciao Table greeting practice” produced in collaboration with the Maghetti Foundation and with the consultancy of SR Special Events Consulting and the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (Bachelor in Leisure Management, Field Project). In 2024, we also had the support of Banca Stato and the theatre company Il Vicolo, which offered an entertaining interactive show.

FILM FESTIVAL

OtherMovie, The Lugano Film Festival is organised every year. You can meet the directors and actors of the selected films, and you can participate in discussions after the screenings and in social events.

Argentine Tango

Tango is an art form that combines dance, music, poetry, and song. The Amitango association offers meeting points for those who love or want to get to know Argentine tango and promotes Argentine tango events.
